Zappa Sambuca is well known for its vibrant colours and consumers have enjoyed Zappa’s warming flavour for decades. This blue liqueur from South Africa is flavoured with essential oils obtained from aniseed, star anise, liquorice and other natural spices. Zappa is consumed primarily as a shooter but can be enjoyed as a long drink with lemonade or in cocktails.
Zappa Sambuca is perhaps the best known as a shooter, but this liqueur can also be mixed with lemonade or used as a cocktail ingredient. It also contains elderflowers. The oil is added to pure alcohol, a concentrate solution of sugar and other flavorings.
