Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team in the liquor industry. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the beverage or FMCG sector. This role involves managing financial transactions, assisting with tax filings, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate and timely MIS reports to support informed decision-making
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payment processing.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Support tax calculations and filings, ensuring compliance with excise and VAT/GST regulations.
• Monitor inventory records and liaise with procurement to track stock-related expenses.
• Assist with audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation.
• Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for financial data management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the liquor, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Knowledge of GST, VAT, excise duty, and other industry-specific tax regulations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
