Job Overview:

The On-Trade/HORECA Sales Executive is responsible for managing and growing sales in bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, and other hospitality venues. This role involves developing strong relationships with key accounts, driving brand visibility, and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, target-driven professional with a passion for the liquor industry and a deep understanding of the on-trade sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new on-trade accounts (bars, restaurants, pubs, and hotels).
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to increase sales.
  • Negotiate pricing, volume deals, and promotional agreements with clients.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
  • Work with bar managers and mixologists to ensure brand placement on menus and back bars.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute brand activations, events, and tasting sessions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for competitive positioning.
  • Provide training and product knowledge sessions to bartenders and hospitality staff.
  • Ensure consistent product availability and resolve supply issues efficiently.
  • Gather feedback from on-trade partners to improve customer experience and sales strategies.
  • Track and analyze sales performance within the assigned territory.
  • Provide regular reports on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.

 

Key Requirements: Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in on-trade sales, preferably in the liquor or beverage industry.
  • Existing network of contacts in the hospitality sector is a plus.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, mixology, and bar operations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
