Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator

Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator and Video Editor. This role involves creating engaging video content, particularly reels, managing social media pages, and ensuring the content aligns with our brand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, expertise in video editing, and experience handling social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. • Create engaging and creative short-form video content (Reels, & Shorts) for various platforms.
   • Develop compelling storylines and ensure each video aligns with brand values and goals.
   • Stay updated on trending formats, audio, and styles to create viral and shareable content.
   • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute innovative video ideas.
   • Handle daily management of social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
   • Plan, create, and schedule content using social media management tools.
   • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and monitor social interactions.
   • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize content and engagement strategies.
   • Keep up with industry trends, algorithms, and best practices to grow audience and increase visibility.
   • Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
   • Enhance videos with graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to ensure professional standards.
   • Maintain an organized archive of all video projects and source files.
   • Ensure content is optimized for different social media platforms (aspect ratio, length, file size, etc.).
   • Work closely with the PR & marketing team to develop content strategies aligned with campaigns and brand messaging.
   • Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with fresh ideas for social content and video formats.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video production, reels making, and editing for social media.
• Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, particularly Instagram and YouTube.
• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) is a plus.
• Photography and graphic design skills are a bonus.
